Transparent watercolor painted on Arches 140 lb CP paper using “Bacardi Superior Rum" as a vehicle.

The Bean Blossom Bridge, in Brown County, Indiana has been a favorite painting subject for artist since it was built in 1880. Although the new road, Hwy 135, by-passes it, the old road is still in use. I have painted this bridge so many times, all different, but I refer to it as my own personal “Motif #1". It made a great miniature painting subject with the WPA technique.
